UPDATE — The Maryland athletic department tweeted “Renderings leaked of potential uniforms are drafts only. Our fans will know when Terps, UA launch Pride for basketball.” I would tend to think that the renderings are very similar to what the players will be wearing come November. I’ll provide later updates if any become available.

ORIGINAL — Mark Turgeon confirmed a few weeks ago that the Terps will be sporting Maryland Pride uniforms this season.

On Wednesday morning, Under Armour released a photo of what the unis will look like.

As the football uniforms were last year, the Maryland state flag makes an appearance on each jersey. There are four variations including all white, all black, all yellow, and all red.

I’m a big fan of the red and black ones myself.

The jersey will be using the “Terrafont,” which is the same font that the football and lacrosse teams used on their Maryland Pride unis.

As Ben over at Testudo Times points out, these will be making quite the debut against Kentucky at the brand new Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Nov. 9. The new threads will have the team looking the part.

Hopefully the Terps will be making a statement with their play as well. Either way, that’s going to be a great game to attend. I know I’m going to do everything I can to make that trip!
